Course Overview

You’ll learn to code in several languages, starting with the Java programming language, which is widely used in industry. You’ll have access to academics who are pushing boundaries with their research. Kent is an Academic Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security Research as well as being experts in programming languages and artificial intelligence. An accredited degree gives you the knowledge, understanding and skills for eventual registration as an Incorporated (IEng) or Chartered Engineer (CEng). Some employers prefer graduates from accredited degrees, and your degree is also more likely to be recognised in other countries if you’re looking to work abroad.
