Course Overview

You will take a scientific approach to psychology, exploring how biological, cognitive, and neural processes influence behaviour, alongside social and environmental factors, and apply this knowledge to strategic human resource management.
You will build a strong foundation in core areas of psychology while developing expertise in HR practices such as talent management, employee relations, and organisational culture. By combining theory with real-world application, you will learn how to support employee wellbeing, manage change, and respond to the evolving impact of technology in the workplace.
Throughout the course, you will:

  • Apply psychological principles to human resource management and workplace challenges
  • Explore behaviour from biological, cognitive, developmental, and social perspectives
  • Gain experience in areas such as talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee relations
  • Develop research, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Build knowledge of inclusive workplace practices, employee voice, and dispute resolution
