Course Overview

This professionally oriented Accounting and Finance degree focuses on modern developments in accounting, corporate finance and financial markets, including the impact of technology and digital reporting. Accredited by major professional accountancy bodies, the course may provide exemptions from up to nine professional exams, helping you progress towards becoming a Chartered Accountant. You will study areas such as financial and management accounting, taxation, auditing, corporate finance and financial markets, while developing strong skills in analysis, statistics, logic and financial decision-making.

You will gain practical experience using industry-standard tools such as Bloomberg terminals, Stocktrak portfolio simulation and statistical and accounting software, building confidence for real-world financial environments. Taught by experienced former accountants and tax managers, and informed by world-class research in banking, risk, regulation and fintech, the degree prepares you for careers in accounting, auditing, risk management, financial services or financial leadership roles in organisations around the world.
