Course Overview

This Banking and Finance degree provides in-depth knowledge of financial institutions, financial markets and their regulators, and the role they play in corporate, commercial and personal finance. You will study key topics such as financial markets, investment and portfolio management, corporate and personal finance, behavioural finance, and financial analysis, while developing strong skills in logic, statistics, maths and financial decision-making.
You will gain practical experience using industry-standard tools including Bloomberg terminals, Stocktrak portfolio simulation and statistical analysis software, with access to real-world financial data from the UK and international markets. Teaching is informed by world-class research and industry expertise, helping you understand how financial decisions made by individuals, firms, banks and governments shape economies and society, and preparing you for careers in banking, investment, financial services and beyond.
