What is the MSc Accounting and Finance?

Designed with insights from employers and industry, the MSc Accounting and Finance will provide you with an integrated academic and professional training environment in which you will develop the knowledge, understanding and skills to excel in a variety of professional business and accounting roles. You will also develop digital and data skills that global employers want in the Big Data era, offering a crucial edge in the marketplace against other qualified accountants. There are two routes that you can choose from and, before the end of stage one, you will be asked to elect which of the two routes you will be studying for the remainder of the MSc programme. Route one is a broad-based business and accounting route and Route two, an ACCA Strategic Professional specialised route. For Route two, you are advised to have completed ACCA’s Skills and Knowledge papers in order to be able to take ACCA Strategic Professional level exams alongside the MSc programme.
