Course Overview

You will gain an understanding of key skills in international tourism and hospitality management, which will enhance your prospects for a successful career within this growing and changing market sector in the 21st Century. You will be introduced to the theory and practice of tourism and hospitality with a focus on sustainability, innovation, resilience and effective leadership. You will learn to analyse complex problems facing the industry and to make strategic and operational decisions using critical thinking. This course will prepare you for an exciting international career in hospitality and tourism by developing your understanding of different cultures and consumer behaviours, the use of digital platforms to inform decision-making and real-world knowledge and experience of the industry through your placement and research project.
