The Mercy University Veterinary Technology Program is fully accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities (AVMA CVTEA) and leads to a four-year Bachelor of Science degree and the title, veterinary technologist.

Course Overview
Veterinary technologists are diversifying their profession across a range of specialties, including small and large animal medicine, exotic animal care, zoo and marine animal medicine, equine medicine, wildlife medicine, and shelter medicine. This expanding expertise enables them to enhance the health and well-being of diverse species while addressing challenges unique to each specialization.
