Course Overview

Study physiotherapy and develop the knowledge, practical skills and professional values needed to assess, treat and support people across a wide range of healthcare settings. You will gain experience in the core areas of physiotherapy while learning how to improve health, wellbeing and quality of life through evidence-based practice.

Throughout the course, you will develop practical and professional skills, including:

  • Building expertise in musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiovascular-respiratory physiotherapy
  • Applying the principles of exercise, research and physiotherapy to support patient care
  • Working collaboratively with healthcare professionals across a variety of practice settings
  • Developing your skills through diverse, high-quality practice-based learning opportunities

The course combines academic study with extensive clinical experience to prepare you for a career as a physiotherapist. It is approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and graduates are eligible to apply for HCPC registration and membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
