Course Overview
Develop your leadership and management capabilities to understand how organisations operate and how effective decisions are made in professional environments. You will build a strong foundation across key business areas while developing the skills needed to lead teams and manage change.
A key feature of the course is its practical approach to learning, including:
- Working on live consultancy projects with real organisations
- Developing leadership, communication and decision-making skills
- Building knowledge across areas such as strategy, marketing, finance and operations
- The opportunity to undertake a placement year and gain valuable industry experience
This combination of academic study and practical experience helps you graduate with the confidence, professional skills and industry insight needed to make an immediate impact in the workplace.
Work Placement Information
A work placement year is an optional part of your degree and is normally completed during your studies, before your final year. If you are interested in undertaking a placement, you should discuss this with your Course Director once you start your degree programme. Please note that you will need to apply for a visa extension and pay an additional placement year tuition fee. Details of placement year fees can be found on the Ulster University International Tuition Fees page.

Payment of Pathway Study Tuition Fees Your offer letter shows an initial fee that confirms your place on your chosen study preparation course and a link to Flywire so that you can make a secure payment. This initial fee is an instalment towards the overall cost of tuition fees for your study preparation course and includes a one-time non-refundable administration fee. After your CAS Letter has been issued, and before arrival or registration, you must pay your remaining first-year tuition fees in full.
