Course Overview

This course prepares you to deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care across a range of healthcare settings. Your studies are split equally between university learning and clinical placements, giving you valuable hands-on experience in hospitals and community environments. Based at the Kirkcaldy Campus, you will benefit from strong links with NHS Fife and access to a dedicated Clinical Skills Centre with modern simulation facilities. Through lectures, practical workshops, scenario-based learning, and placements, you will develop the critical thinking, communication, and clinical skills required for professional practice. Successful completion of the programme provides both an academic and professional qualification, enabling you to apply for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
