Course Overview

Economics course focuses specifically on the macroeconomic challenges of national, regional and global economies together with the microeconomic behaviour of people and businesses. An economics degree is an excellent foundation for your career as an economist but also offers scope to pursue a diverse range of high-earning opportunities.

The MA (Hons) option allows you to combine your compulsory modules with arts and social science subjects such as History, English, Geography, Politics, or Psychology. In Scotland, an MA is an undergraduate degree and is the same level as a BA in other parts of the UK.
