Course Overview
Philosophy challenges you to explore fundamental questions about existence, knowledge, and values through reasoned debate and analysis. This degree focuses on the rich tradition of continental (European) philosophy, introducing you to influential thinkers and ideas that continue to shape culture, politics, and society today.
By studying French alongside philosophy, you will gain access to philosophical texts in their original language and broaden your understanding of European thought and culture. You will also develop valuable communication and analytical skills that can be applied across a wide range of careers.
