Course Overview

Psycholinguistics is the study of how our brain works with language. It looks at how we speak, understand, learn, and use language. It also studies how age or brain injuries can affect language abilities. Why It’s Useful:

– Helps improve how we teach second languages
– Supports better ways to teach kids reading and writing
– Helps in creating smarter AI and communication tools
– Aids in treating language problems caused by development or brain damage

Research and Learning: We have a strong research team at the Language Research Centre (LaRC). You’ll join a friendly group and get personal support and hands-on experience. Who Can Join? You can take this course if you studied psychology, linguistics, education, or a similar subject before. We welcome small groups so we can give you more support.
