Course Overview

Build the technical, analytical and leadership skills needed to manage engineering projects and operations within modern industries. This course combines core engineering knowledge with management and strategic decision-making to prepare students for leadership roles across engineering and technology sectors. Students will explore areas such as engineering systems, operations management, sustainability, project delivery and organisational leadership while developing problem-solving and communication skills valued by employers. Practical projects and industry-focused learning help students apply technical knowledge within real-world engineering environments. Graduates will be prepared for careers in engineering management, operations, consultancy, project leadership and wider industrial sectors. This course also offers the opportunity to undertake a Professional Experience Year, giving students the chance to gain valuable industry experience, develop professional skills and apply their learning in a real-world working environment before graduation.
