Course Overview

The course is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and therefore teaches core areas of psychology, including developmental, social and cognitive psychology. Alongside this, students will also explore inclusive and holistic approaches to teaching and learning, providing a solid grounding in their journey as education practitioners. In the final year the two disciplines merge as students embark on an education career pathway that focuses on neurodevelopmental disorders and educational psychology. In joining Psychology at Roehampton, you will have the opportunity to become a Mental Health England First-Aider, or train and develop skills in mental health first aid, further expanding your professional development.
