Course Overview

You will take a scientific approach to understanding the connection between the mind, health and performance examining everything from brain processes to social and environmental influences.
You will develop a strong foundation in core areas of psychology while learning how to apply this knowledge in real-world sport, performance, exercise, and health contexts. By combining theory with practice, you will build both professional expertise and valuable interpersonal skills.
Throughout the course, you will:

  • Apply psychological principles to sport, health, performance and exercise settings
  • Explore developmental, biological, cognitive, and social aspects of behaviour
  • Gain experience in areas such as nutrition, health, and sport psychology
  • Develop research, communication, and analytical skills
