Course Overview

Explore contemporary approaches to dance education through a degree designed to develop both practical teaching expertise and creative leadership skills. This course examines how dance can support learning, wellbeing, inclusion and artistic development across educational and community settings.

Students will explore areas such as choreography, movement practice, curriculum design, performance studies and inclusive teaching methods while developing confidence in planning and delivering engaging learning experiences.

Practical projects and collaborative learning help students apply theory within real-world educational and creative environments. Graduates will be prepared for careers across dance teaching, arts education, community engagement, performance training and wider creative education sectors.
