Campus Life
The University of Greenwich offers three contrasting campuses in southeast London and Kent, each with excellent facilities for work and play.
Each location has great public transport links, making it easy to travel between campuses, explore London, or enjoy Kent’s coast and countryside.
- Greenwich campus is only 25 minutes from Central London. The Dreadnought Building is the student hub with open spaces, Cafe, a basement bar, gig venue, and plenty of room to study and socialise.
- Avery Hill campus is located in Southeast London and 30 minutes from Greenwich. It offers excellent teaching and sports facilities, with recent £14 million upgrades including new buildings, clinical skills labs, and floodlit all-weather pitches. It is also home to the Student Village with on-site accommodation, a café, student bar, and social spaces.
- Medway campus in Kent is around one hour from Greenwich and has a large library and industry-standard labs for science, engineering, pharmacy and natural resources. Everything is close together, and student life centres around The Deep End, a lively social hub with events like comedy nights, concerts, and quizzes.

Living on campus in halls of residence is a great way to meet new people and make lifelong friends. At the Greenwich campus, there are several accommodation options, all within easy walking distance of lecture halls, social spaces and transport links or via a student shuttle service.
Cutty Sark Hall is located above the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) station, right in the heart of Greenwich. It offers 231 single bedrooms, each with en-suite shower and toilet facilities. Students live in shared, self-catered flats, and the surrounding area is filled with shops and restaurants just minutes from the main campus.
McMillan Student Village is around 10 to 15 minutes on foot from both Greenwich town centre and Deptford High Street. This residence accommodates students from several nearby colleges and features a large common room where residents can relax, study and socialise.
Daniel Defoe Hall sits next to Greenwich rail and DLR station, approximately 15 minutes from campus. It includes 358 en-suite rooms in a range of styles, from shared flats to studios and two-bedroom “studio-style” flats. The building also offers two communal spaces and a small on-site gym for residents.

We process applications as quickly as possible but an offer may take up to 4 weeks during peak periods. Some decisions can take longer depending on the course and point of application.

Our refund policy can be found here. All Refunds will be processed within 21 calendar days of receiving the completed Refund Request Form and relevant supporting documentation. For a copy of the refund request form please email pathwayrefunds@OxfordInternational.com.
Finance will only refund the account that the original funds came in from, and the same country of origin. In case of original account being closed, then the payee and country of origin must be the same.
To speed up the refund process students are required to provide evidence of the original payment made to OIEG along with their refund request form and visa refusal form/other relevant documentation.

You can still apply even if you haven’t yet received your final transcript or your Certificate of English proficiency. You will receive a conditional offer which will state what qualifications and grades you will need to achieve in order to meet our entry requirements. Our team will contact you during this process.

To complete your online application, you will need the following:
– A copy of a valid passport
– A copy of your original qualification certificate and transcripts – certified translation (if possible)
– Any current & previous UK visas, CAS and copies of exit stamp. Please also include a copy of any previous visa refusal letters – if previously studied in the UK
– A valid copy of IELTS or Pearson PTE if the score is at 5.5 or above – only IELTS taken at UKVI approved centres can be used if the score is below 5.5 in any component
