Course Overview

Build a strong foundation in aerospace engineering while developing the technical knowledge and practical skills needed to solve complex engineering challenges. You will explore the design, development and testing of aerospace systems, with a focus on innovation, sustainability and the future of air and space transportation.

Throughout the course, you will develop practical and professional skills, including:

  • Applying scientific and engineering principles to aerospace design and development
  • Using numerical modelling, experimental techniques and industry-led projects to solve real-world challenges
  • Exploring sustainability in aerospace, including decarbonisation and future aviation technologies
  • Developing expertise in aerospace research, manufacturing, testing and product development

The course combines academic study with practical engineering experience to prepare you for careers across the aerospace industry. It is accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE).
