Course Overview

Build a strong foundation in biochemistry by exploring the chemical processes that underpin living organisms. You will combine biology and chemistry to understand cellular function, disease and the development of new therapies, while tailoring your studies to match your interests and career goals.

Throughout the course, you will develop practical and professional skills, including:

  • Studying biological and chemical processes at the cellular and molecular levels

  • Gaining valuable industry experience through an optional placement year
