Course Overview

Build a strong foundation in computer games technologies while developing the technical expertise needed to create games for a range of platforms. You will explore game development processes, industry practices and emerging technologies, preparing you for a career in the games industry.

Throughout the course, you will develop practical and professional skills, including:

  • Developing computer games using modern tools, techniques and development processes
  • Understanding the theories, technologies and ethical considerations of game development
  • Building a portfolio of commercial-quality games and related digital projects
  • Gaining experience with industry-standard software and the latest game development platforms

The course combines academic study with practical project work to prepare you for careers in computer games development and the wider interactive entertainment industry.
