Course Overview

Build a strong understanding of cyber security while developing the practical skills needed to defend networks, applications and digital systems against evolving cyber threats. You will combine technical knowledge with hands-on learning, preparing you to identify vulnerabilities and create effective security solutions.

Throughout the course, you will develop practical and professional skills, including:

  • Building and testing cyber security defences for networks, applications and systems
  • Exploring the tools and techniques used to secure data and detect cyber threats
  • Applying ethical hacking, penetration testing and cyber defence techniques to real-world challenges
  • Designing technical solutions to complex cyber security problems

The course combines academic study with applied learning to prepare you for careers in cyber security, digital defence and related technology fields. It is accredited by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
