Course Overview

Develop a comprehensive understanding of the law while exploring its role in promoting justice and supporting society. You will combine legal theory with practical experience, building the knowledge and professional skills needed to apply the law in real-world settings.

Throughout the course, you will develop practical and professional skills, including:

  • Developing a critical understanding of legal principles and practice
  • Exploring how law promotes justice and social order
  • Gaining practical experience through the Legal Service Clinic, Hubs and live client cases
  • Working with law firms, legal organisations and social justice providers, with opportunities for UK and international placements

The course combines academic study with hands-on legal experience to prepare you for careers in the legal profession and a wide range of related sectors. After completing the degree, you can continue your route to qualification as a solicitor through the Legal Practice Development (SQE Preparation) course.
