BSc (Hons) Event Management

Built around the demands of the global hospitality and events industry, this course combines business management with hands-on experience in professional environments. You will develop the skills to create exceptional customer experiences, lead teams and manage operations with confidence.

You will gain both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience, including:

• Developing skills in event planning, operations and customer experience
• Building business knowledge across areas such as marketing, finance and strategy
• Applying learning through live events and industry engagement opportunities

With the option to gain industry experience through a placement year, you will graduate with the skills needed to succeed in hospitality, events and related sectors.

Work Placement Information
A work placement year is an optional part of your degree and is normally completed during your studies, before your final year. If you are interested in undertaking a placement, you should discuss this with your Course Director once you start your degree programme. Please note that you will need to apply for a visa extension and pay an additional placement year tuition fee.
