BSc (Hons) International Hospitality Management

This degree combines business management with practical hospitality training, helping you develop the skills needed to succeed in a global, customer-focused industry. You will gain an understanding of hospitality operations alongside key management principles.

A strong emphasis is placed on hands-on learning and industry experience, including:

• Practical training in professional facilities such as restaurants, bars and kitchens
• Opportunities to specialise in areas such as tourism or events management
• Developing leadership, operational and customer experience skills

With the opportunity to complete a placement year, you will gain valuable real-world experience, preparing you for management roles across hospitality, tourism and events.

Work Placement Information
A work placement year is an optional part of your degree and is normally completed during your studies, before your final year. If you are interested in undertaking a placement, you should discuss this with your Course Director once you start your degree programme. Please note that you will need to apply for a visa extension and pay an additional placement year tuition fee.
