Course Overview

This LLM explores the growing intersection of corporate sustainability, human rights, environmental protection, and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) regulation. You will examine how businesses, investors, and governments are responding to increasing legal obligations related to sustainability, climate change, and responsible business practices. The course combines advanced legal analysis with practical insights from industry and policymaking, helping you understand the challenges and opportunities facing organisations worldwide. You will study topics such as corporate sustainability due diligence, international trade and investment law, climate change, energy, mining, and water law.
