Course Overview

Build a strong foundation in mechatronics and robotics engineering while developing the skills needed to design and integrate mechanical, electrical and software systems. You will explore emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, while learning how to create innovative engineering solutions for real-world applications.

Throughout the course, you will develop practical and professional skills, including:

  • Applying mechatronics and robotics principles to solve real-world engineering challenges
  • Designing intelligent systems using mechanical, electrical and software technologies
  • Exploring artificial intelligence and emerging technologies in robotics
  • Developing analytical, experimental, numerical and digital problem-solving skills

The course combines academic study with practical engineering experience to prepare you for careers in mechatronics, robotics and advanced manufacturing. It also supports your progression towards professional recognition with the relevant engineering institution.
