Course Overview

Explore the science behind human performance, physical activity and health while developing the practical skills needed to apply sport and exercise science in real-world settings. You will combine scientific theory with hands-on experience, gaining the expertise to support athletes, active individuals and diverse populations.

Throughout the course, you will develop practical and professional skills, including:

  • Exploring the scientific principles of sport and exercise science

  • Promoting physical activity, health and positive behaviour through evidence-based practice

It is endorsed by the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA) against its Gym Instructor professional standards.
