Course Overview

This degree combines engineering knowledge with management expertise, equipping you to lead and deliver complex construction projects. You will develop an understanding of construction processes, materials and technologies alongside the financial and legal frameworks that shape the industry.

You will build a strong mix of technical and professional skills, including:

  • Managing construction projects, costs and quality
  • Understanding construction technology, materials and design processes
  • Applying legal and contractual knowledge in real-world scenarios

With hands-on learning using industry-relevant tools and accreditation from leading professional bodies, the course prepares you for careers in construction engineering and management across a global industry.

Work Placement Information
A work placement year is an optional part of your degree and is normally completed during your studies, before your final year. If you are interested in undertaking a placement, you should discuss this with your Course Director once you start your degree programme. Please note that you will need to apply for a visa extension and pay an additional placement year tuition fee.
