Course Overview

Develop a strong understanding of cyber security and digital forensics while learning how to secure information systems and investigate cyber incidents. You will combine technical knowledge with practical experience, gaining the skills needed to identify threats, collect digital evidence and respond to cybercrime.

Throughout the course, you will develop practical and professional skills, including:

  • Designing and securing complex information systems
  • Investigating cyber incidents through digital evidence collection and analysis
  • Understanding the legal and regulatory frameworks surrounding cyber security and digital forensics
  • Using industry-standard digital forensics software and technologies

The course combines academic study with practical learning to prepare you for careers in cyber security, digital forensics and information security. It is accredited by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT and the Chartered Institute of Information Security (CIISec).
